Rail Freight Customer Survey
The Tyne and Wear Freight Partnership, now in its 7th Year, is managed by AECOM for the Tyne and Wear Local Transport Plan Team.
The Partnership seeks to understand the problems and issues relating to freight movement in Tyne and Wear, and to set out a coherent strategy and mechanism through which they can be addressed.
A Rail Freight Partner group has been set up by the Partnership to include a number of rail industry organisations as stakeholders. The purpose of the group is to seek an understanding of opportunities for modal shift from road to rail. To help this process we have produced a short questionnaire which should take around 10-12 minutes to complete.
The findings from this survey will be treated as strictly confidential if you wish. You will be asked at the end of the questionnaire how much of the detail of your answers you are content to be revealed. Please be assured that we operate within the guidelines of the Market Research Society and your wishes will be respected.
